For Your Instagram

Golden Gate Bridge- This one seems self explanatory, but the bridge is the perfect place for some really awesome photos. You might want to check the weather since it can get REALLY foggy. When we went there was really low visibility, but we were still able to get some really awesome pictures! We drove to the other side and hiked up to Battery Spencer which was much less crowded and in my opinion a way better view.

The Painted Ladies/Alamo Square- You know those super colorful Victorian houses in the intro of Full House… yeah those ones. They’re right across the street from a beautiful park that’s great for picnics and lounging when the weather is nice. ┬áTons of people bring their dogs out to play and it’s really beautiful part of town to take pictures.

For Good Eats

Jane on Filmore/Jane on Larkin- We loved this spot we went twice. Great coffee, very cute interior and their food is great too! I would recommend trying their Nutty Bird Bread, Avocado Mash, Vegan and Gluten Free Granola.

Bluestone Lane- this little Australian-style cafe reminds me so much of one of my favorite spots in New York, Two Hands. Order the Avocado Toast, Banana Toast, the Breakfast Bowl, and the Golden Latte.

Pressed Juicery- This was something I had my eye on forever. I had seen so many bloggers in California and New York raving about how amazing Pressed Juicery was and I was really really really excited to try it myself. Definitely try their freeze (it’s like soft serve ice cream but it’s made with the best ingredients! Their chocolate freeze is made with only filtered water, dates, almonds, cacao powder, and sea salt. I really liked their Orange Turmeric Apple Lemon Juice and their Grapefruit Aloe Vera Mint Juice.

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse- This could also be listed under the “For Your Instagram” Category” because this place is so darn cute for pictures. Filled donuts, massive cookies, a matcha croissant, and their famous “Cruffin” (a crosse between a croissant and a muffin).

Mixt- This restaurant has awesome fresh sandwiches, grain bowls, and salads that you can order from the menu or make your own! We went the first night we got there and again one of the last nights because it was so good and right around the corner from our hotel!

Things To Do

Shop at Westfield Mall- This upscale shopping center has NINE STORIES and houses shops like Lululemon, Adidas, GUESS, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Madewell, Michael Kors, Nordstrom, Sephora, and Zara.

Spend a Night at Pier 39- Great Seafood, an amazing view of the water (and Alcatraz!) and fun little shops!

Catch a baseball game- AT&T Park is a beautiful setting for a baseball game. When the weather is nice and sunny you can look out over the field right into the bay. Even if you’re not the biggest baseball fan, like myself, this can be a great experience!
